The STEM Design Challenge is a competition for students in grades 4-8 where they build a project out of K’Nex pieces. This year’s challenge is attached. Students work in teams of 4 to design and build their project (it’s okay if they have less team members, but we try to encourage 4 if possible).
Regional Competition will be held at Johnson College on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.
(SNOWDATE – Friday, February 15, 2019)
Competition is open to grades 4-8 who will compete in two age bands: Grades 4-5 and Grades 6-8.
State competition will be held at Harrisburg University on May 17, 2019.
This year’s challenge is described here.
