Step outside the classroom and into an inspiring two-day summer experience designed for educators who want to deepen their environmental literacy, reconnect with the natural world, and bring meaningful sustainability learning back to their students. Branching Out: Environmental Learning Summer Camp for Teachers blends hands-on exploration, collaborative learning, and practical classroom application in a relaxed camp-style setting created specifically for adult learners.

Throughout the camp, participants will investigate local ecosystems, explore current environmental challenges, and engage with innovative teaching strategies that make environmental education relevant, engaging, and interdisciplinary. From guided nature walks and outdoor field investigations to interactive workshops on climate science, conservation, biodiversity, and sustainable practices, teachers will experience the kind of inquiry-based learning that sparks curiosity and lasting understanding.

Designed for educators across grade levels and subject areas, this immersive camp emphasizes real-world connections, place-based learning, and creative approaches to environmental stewardship. Participants will collaborate with fellow teachers, share ideas and resources, and develop adaptable lesson plans and activities that can be immediately integrated into their classrooms and communities.

Whether you are new to environmental education or looking to expand your existing practice, Branching Out offers an energizing opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow alongside other passionate educators. Leave refreshed, inspired, and equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to help the next generation become informed and responsible adults.

Join us this summer as we branch out beyond traditional learning and cultivate a deeper connection between education, community, and the environment.
