NEIU 19 along with ARC of NEPA and The Right to Education Task Force hosted NEPA Inclusive and Safe in Home to offer a Smart Tech seminar for parents and families in the IU 19 region. The SMART Tech Seminar was sponsored by the AllOne Foundation to provide education and hands-on experience with smart technology. SMART Tech provides individuals with disabilities independent living and inclusion, focusing on Elopement. All of the participants received a SMART Tech kit with various in-home smart devices. NEPA Inclusive also offers Secondary Transition programming options for students with disabilities. If you are interested in learning more about these opportunities, please contact Louise Menendez, Director of Training and Development NEPA Inclusive Headquarters at lmenendez@nepainclusive.org.
